The all-black Broadway musical reimagining of The Wizard of Oz comes to the big screen with Diana Ross as Dorothy, a shy Harlem schoolteacher whisked by whirlwind into a magical version of sleazy 1970s Manhattan. Eighteen-year-old Michael Jackson shows off his dancing skills as Scarecrow; Richard Pryor plays the Wizard.
