Deep in the Himalayas, a team of sherpas kill a giant apelike creature. A group of scientists, convinced it was the legendary Yeti, organise an expedition to search for more specimens. They discover, hidden beneath a glacier, a verdant valley inhabited by rugged primates, and wreckage that might once been a spaceship....
